Holistic science is often considered an alternative approach to the Faith Healing provided by clerics and druids. It focuses upon the union of the Mind, Body, and Spirit of an individual, constructing a sense of Vitality by which the living and the non-living are easily categorized. When applied through psionic techniques, the Holistic Vitalist is capable of altering the vitality of a subject, usually as a boon. Truly gifted Holistic Vitalists are capable of sundering the union of Vitality in others, damaging their sense of self.
To qualify to become a Holistic Vitalist, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.

· Healing: 3 Ranks
· Knowledge (Psionics): 7 Ranks
· Psicraft: 7 Ranks
· Psionic Body
· Rapid Metabolism
· Manifester Level 5

Holistic Vitalists gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor
Powers per Day / Powers Known (Ex)
When a new Holistic Vitalist level is gained, the character gains new powers per day (and powers known, if applicable) as if he had also gained a level in whatever Psionic Manifester class in which he met the requirements to achieve the Holistic Vitalist prestige class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If a character had more than one Psionic Manifester class which qualifies for the Holistic Vitalist prestige class, he must decide to which class he adds each level of Holistic Vitalist for the purpose of determining Powers per Day.
Holistic Touch (Su) The primary ability of the Holistic Vitalist is to repair the union of the Mind, Body, and Spirit. Whether their subject has been damaged physically, mentally, or spiritually, the Holistic Vitalist can alleviate such harmful conditions in others. Psychic Chirugery, Psychic Reformation, and all Psychometabilism (Healing) powers are automatically gained as a Known Power which does not count against the maximum number of Known Powers. These powers can be used with a range of Touch instead of Personal and provide a Will-Negates Saving Throw. All Power-Point costs of Psychometabolism (Healing) powers including augmentation costs are halved, rounded-up. At 5th level, the effects of a Psychometabolism (Healing) power are affected by either Empower Power or Maximize Power with the expenditure of a Psionic Focus and no additional power point cost.

Mentis Vitae (Su) The Holistic Vitalist gains the ability to harness psionic energy from deep within his own body to combat effects which would otherwise diminish his vitality. The Holistic Vitalist gains a bonus equal to his Holistic Vitalist Level on Saving Throws made to resist or avoid the following effects: Mind-Affecting effects, Poison, Sleep, Paralysis, Stunning, Disease, Death Effects, Ability Burn, Ability Drain, Ability Damage, Ability Penalties, and Energy Drain. If a Saving Throw is not normally allowed, the Holistic Vitalist gains a Saving Throw against the effect. Furthermore, a successful Saving Throw eliminates the effect entirely, should a reduced effect normally result. At 5th level, the Holistic Vitalist gains a second saving throw the following round, to eliminate any persisting effects.
Corpus Vitae (Su) So in-tuned with his own body is the Holistic Vitalist, that his own body is constantly on the mend. The Holistic Vitalist gains Fast Healing 3, as long as he maintains a Psionic Focus. As this focus is lost once the Holistic Vitalist is unconscious, a Holistic Vitalist is seldom capable of revivification from death’s door. Furthermore, while the benefits of the requisite feat Rapid Metabolism are less applicable, the Holistic Vitalist gains a total of +3HP from the Psionic Body feat (instead of the usual +2HP per Psionic Feat)
Spiritus Vitae (Su) Just as the Holistic Vitalist is capable of mending the union of the Mind, Body, and Spirit so too can he weaken such a union in others. By expending his Psionic Focus, the Holistic Vitalist can augment a power he manifests to cause damage to the target’s sense of self – Charisma. Each Psionic Strength Point used has a chance of imparting a Charisma Penalty to the target at a one-to-one ratio. A WILL Save is allowed to negate the Charisma Penalty, commensurate with the Saving Throw DC of the manifested power. Conversely, the Holistic Vitalist is immune to Charisma-based Ability Burn, Ability Damage, Ability Drain, Ability Penalties, and similar.
Holism Vitality (Ex) Representing perfect understanding of the union of Body, Mind, and Spirit the Holistic Vitalist is continually girded against the ravages of life. The various processes involving the Body, Mind, and Spirit are selectively shut down which grant the Holistic Vitalist proof against Aging (benefits accrue, penalties do not), no need to breathe, eat/drink, or sleep, and no longer subject to Critical Hits or Sneak Attacks. The Outsider type is gained and the Holistic Vitalist retains their Corpus Vitae feature regardless of condition. Thus, the Holistic Vitalist gains a semblance of immortality.
